Mine was busy, but I had so much fun! It's going to be an adjustment cramming all of my regular chores and social events into just 2 days after coming back to work, but I'm off to a great start.
Friday night after work, Hannah and I worked out and then my whole family went to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Saturday, I woke up at 5 am to a freezing house. Our furnace went out the week before and we've had a repair guy come out FOUR TIMES. I was not happy that the problem still wasn't fixed, so I spent the morning making angry phone calls. Thankfully, someone came out and had it up and running again before lunch.
That afternoon, Hannah and I went out running errands at the mall, and then we dropped Hadley off at my sister Haley's house so she could babysit.
Hannah, Sean and I went out for sushi that night and then dessert at our favorite spot. It was nice to get out of the house for a little fun!
Too cool for our photo shoot
Strawberry cake
Banana, Nutella and peanut butter crepe
Sunday morning, we met Haley, her daughter Adelaide and my aunt Lisa at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then headed to my parents' house to meet my sister Hope's new puppy Frankie. He's so adorable that I wanted to smuggle him home in Hadley's diaper bag.
Frankie's big bother Ciapek isn't too sure about him yet!
After enjoying his sweet puppy breath, I said goodbye to Hannah. Her Christmas break was over and it was time for her to head back down to school. I was sad to see her go after having her home for 3 weeks, but she'll be back soon enough.
I dried my tears and ran to Target and the grocery store before crashing for a long nap back home.
When we finally woke up, Hadley did a trial run in her little Baby Snug chair to work on her neck strength. She was very proud of herself for being such a big girl.
Sean and I rounded out the weekend by ordering pizza and finishing laundry. Now we start the countdown to next weekend!
