What a difference a couple of months make. I went from questioning whether or not I could do this parent thing to loving every minute of it. Hadley is an absolute angel baby and I look forward to what each new days brings.
Weight: 14 lbs. 4 oz.
Length: 24 inches
Head: 16.5 inches
She's gaining weight like a champ and I die when I see her chubby cheeks and round belly. The pediatrician said she looks great!
Number of teeth: TWO! Her first tooth broke through last Monday (2/11) on the bottom right side, then on Tuesday, her top right tooth made an appearance. They say it's rare for babies to get teeth this early and to get a top tooth before both come in on the bottom, but I'm learning that everything with our little one is going to be special.
Favorite things: Spending time in her walker, riding in the stroller without the car seat, putting anything and everything in her mouth (I guess it's from the teething), looking out the window while swinging and watching Maddy and Bruno. She loves those dogs! Hadley is always laughing and smiling, and everyone comments on what a happy baby she is.
First solids: Oatmeal last night. She wasn't exactly a fan, but Sean made her smile a few times. We'll keep practicing, though, because we're ready to introduce her to the amazing world of real food.
Favorite books (these are more our favorite books to read to her): Is Your Mama a Llama?, Giraffes Can't Dance and anything by Sandra Boynton (especially Happy Hippo, Angry Duck)
Clothes: 3-6 months and some 6-9 month things
Diapers: Size 2
Nicknames: Tootie, Fruity Fruity and Peenchie
